Beautiful Deep Heavy Vintage European Hand Carved Dough Bowl.

Hand carved from a single piece of wood these bowls date back from the early 1900's and having their own natural insulation were perfect for letting bread dough rise.

Over the last few years they have become extremely popular in the home as a decorative centrepiece in any room or hallway. Whether left completely empty or filled with candles, fruit, magazines, towels, the list is endless. Many people decorate theirs to follow the seasons throughout the year.

Each bowl is unique in its own right and measurements may vary slightly. Due to their age and use they may have historic signs of wear and woodworm but these little imperfections plus wonderful patina just add to their uniqueness.
